A new street light was installed on the corner of 63rd Avenue and 91st St E to replace one that was removed in September. The old pole had been damaged and while it was still working, it was dangerous and could have been fallen down during a storm and PSE determined it was a hazard and removed it. Unfortunately, the pole is our property and not PSE’s so that left the responsibility of replacing the pole in our hands. MCE installed the new pole and it’s wonderful to have the light on that corner, especially as the days are getting shorter and it’s in the mornings and evenings. We want to keep it as safe as possible for all of our neighbors.
