Spring has arrived and with it is the need to clean up our yards. Branches have fallen, moss and weeds have grown, and some leaves remain. Also, opportunities for that first mow of the season have started to pop up! If you’re like me, it’s also time to get your garden boxes prepped/planted too  

Additionally, this week the ACC did our quarterly walkthrough of the neighborhood. Some common themes need addressed, so we thought we would post here to raise awareness. Some of the common issues we noticed in a recent walkthrough:

• Weeds in lawns and flower beds
• Dirty gutters
• Leaves still in yards from the fall
• Moss issues in lawns
• Moss issues on your roof (many, many houses)
• Thin lawns that need re-seeding
• etc

Please also note that some specific issues will be addressed with violation letters being mailed soon, although the tone/language of the first violation is being adjusted to reflect that it is meant as a reminder/push in the right direction.

Keeping our places looking good is part of what makes our neighborhood a beautiful place to be, so let’s get on it!
